Why voxlateWhatsApp writes it down. voxlate translates it.

It actually translates

WhatsApp's built-in voice transcripts just write the note out in its original language. voxlate turns it into the language you want.

Any language, auto-detected

No settings to fumble with. voxlate detects the spoken language for you across ~100 languages. The built-in tool does one language at a time (and only six on Android).

Higher accuracy

Powered by best-in-class speech recognition and translation, not size-limited on-device models.

Nothing to install

It lives inside WhatsApp. Just message it, from any phone.

FAQGood to know

What languages does it handle?

It auto-detects the spoken language and translates to English by default. Set any target with /lang <language>, e.g. /lang french.

How is this different from WhatsApp's built-in transcripts?

WhatsApp's built-in feature transcribes a voice note in its original language; it does not translate. voxlate translates the note into the language you choose, auto-detects the source, and supports far more languages.

Do you keep my voice notes?

No. Audio is transcribed and translated in the moment and not stored. We keep only a per-number counter for the free trial.

Is there an app to install?

None. voxlate lives entirely inside WhatsApp. You just message it.

How long can a voice note be?

Up to about 10 minutes per note, perfect for any voice message.
